Adventist Child India

Our Story

Nancy and I would like to thank all of you that are sponsoring and donating towards the betterment of the children in India. This generosity on your part is giving these “sons and daughters” a chance become part of your family making them feel loved as one of your very own. ACI appreciates the sacrifices that you make through the forth coming months and years, which may even hurt at times. But you still choose to carry on with prayers, sparking up a child’s future even if for a brief moment. ACI office and the thousands of students in the schools, want to thank you with heartfelt gratitude for your gracious and continued support towards the children and their education.

For those of you who don’t know what Adventist Child India is and are wanting to make a difference and become a part of it, I will tell you real quick. In 2005 with the vision and initiative of late missionary Dorothy Watts, this sponsorship program was raised with God’s help to bless the poorest Adventist children from the villages of India. The poor parents would never be able to educate their children with their meager income as day laborers or farmers. As part of the worldwide Adventist family, you are able to help educate the children and secure their future and by doing so support the mission work in this large field of Southern Asia.

For those of you who don’t know what the ACI program is and are still wanting to reach out and help in some way and make a difference in a child’s life, then here’s a brief background of what ACI is all about. In 2005 with the vision and initiative of late missionary Dorothy Watts, this sponsorship program was raised because she saw the need of the poorest children from the villages of India. The below poverty-stricken parents would never be able to educate their children with their meagre income of less than $3 per day as daily wage laborers or farmers.

When you choose to partner with this program, you will be able to help educate the children and secure their future by opening up doors and opportunities that they would otherwise not have.

Nancy is a 3rd generation humanitarian worker, who was born and raised in India, who has a passion to help children be the best that they can be. I’ve always loved children, and wanted to spend time with them, encouraging and giving them the feeling that they are worth a lot to this country and if choose to study, they can become anything they wish to be.

William choose to come to work with the ACI program because he knew of Nancy’s love and compassion for the children of India. He, himself was fairly curious about the history and culture of the country, and on landing here, he instantly fell in love with the children, traditions, ethnicity and adversity in every nook and corner of India.

Sincerely,
William & Nancy Mattison Mack
